Choice Project
Overview: The topic of this project is your choice, within reason. Each topic will need to be passed by me first. As long as there is enough information available and the topic is appropriate I am open to just about anything. Regardless of your topic you will complete one piece in each of the three areas below. What you do within those three areas is your choice. If you have ideas not listed feel free to discuss them with me.

* A trifold or poster is NOT a 3-D object
* This needs to help explain your topic in more detail and must be constructed, not bought. A model of a basketball player for instance would not help us learn more about that person. Think about this when you choose your topic. If done well, this will be an important part of your presentation. Get Creative!!!
4) Presentations
This will be your opportunity to share what you have learned about your topic. You should not be reading your written portion at this time. What you can use is your technology piece and your three dimensional object. These will become your tools to help present to us what you’ve learned.
Due Dates
Research of project topics will take place between Nov. 19 and Dec 7. By Dec. 17th at least 1/3 of the completed project must be done. By Jan 10th, 2/3 of the project will be done, and by January 18th, projects will be completed and presentations will begin. The fractional due dates do not have to relate to just one area, for instance 1/3 of the project may be a beginning to each of the three parts, or one entire part. Intermediate due dates are here to help you manage your time. I will be doing checks on these days to see that you are moving along. In your final evaluation you will be graded on the use of your class time while working on this project. Showing me that you can use this time wisely and not use it as playtime will go a long way to helping you receiving full credit for this part of the project. It will also help you to have less homework and be less stressed. : )
